2020 has been described as unprecedented, challenging, and surreal, to name a few. Our lives have included new practices like social distancing, masking, and sanitizing. Phrases such as superspreader, quarantine, and stimulus became part of our daily news. Throughout it all, Action Lift has operated as an essential business. Our mission has been to safely support our customers, many of whom are part of the all-important supply chain. As a responsible company coping with COVID-19, we have followed the CDC guidelines and our state government mandates to keep our employees safe.

We missed events like Employee Appreciation Day, our summer family outing, and our Christmas party. But we continued to recognize our monthly Merrie Award winners and those who celebrated new births, work anniversaries, engagements, and other family milestones. We have work to do and continue to hire good, qualified people to meet the demands. In turn, we are happy to say that Action Lift was voted as a Platinum winner of NEPA’s BEST TO PLACES WORK sponsored by the Times Leader.

Additionally, our company celebrated a significant milestone this year! In December 2020, Action Lift celebrated 35 years in the material handling business. The NE Pennsylvania region has grown as a logistics hub, and we are grateful to be part of that growth and excited about the future. As we set forth to begin a new year, we are looking forward to better days. We hope for the swift suppression of COVID-19 and a safe return to operations as usual.
